Well, The Golden Record finally came out today. The first Golden Ticket recipient has gotten in touch. The video for The Lamb premiered. European tour in full swing! What a day!

Dear Friends,
I am writing you from a relatively non-descript stretch of highway somewhere between Minneapolis and the rest of my life. We have been on the road for nearly a month now, 3 weeks of that time with one of the best singers and people of our time, Sharon Van Etten. I would like to thank all of the great band members who have traveled with me over the last month: the 7 piece including Marcus Paquin, Kaveh Nabatian, Jess Robertson, Jamie Thompson, Ari Swan and Adam Luksetich, and the 3 piece that have been my road dog crew for the SVE shows: Adam Luksetich and Ari Swan, pictured here:
Adam has driven the ENTIRE stretch of highway; from Iowa to Texas through the Southwest, Cali and SO CAL and the rest of it. He’s also schooled us on metal along the way. Thanks Adam! You’re a trooper. I’m so sad that we’ve parted ways… I have headed to Europe to tour with Jose Gonzales and Timber Timbre!!
To SVE and her whole crew of most amazing people, I will miss you like Ritz crackers miss Eazy cheese in Canada (where they don’t sell that stuff).
To my road dogs, we will conquer again!!!
